Dear all

our umbrella association, the Longfei Taijiquan Association of Great Britain, is holding its annual charity event this Saturday at our London Free Open Pushing Hands Session, at Parliament Hill Bandstand, Hampstead Heath, at 9.30am.

This annual event was started to raise money for a dementia support group (Pick’s Disease, Fronto Temporal Dementia Support Group) when Barry’s teacher’s mother passed away from associated complications of the disease.

On Saturday, Barry’s teacher, Simon Watson, will be leading practice of hand and weapons forms around the bandstand. Not only is this a great event for charity but it is also a chance for you to meet and practice with our extended tai chi family. You can bring a picnic or there is a wonderful cafe next to the bandstand. There are also washrooms a minute or so away and Parliament Hill Farmers Market waiting for you to pick up something scrummy on your way home! Why not bring your family and friends!

Please come and enjoy the beauty of Hampstead Heath and support the cause. Note that there will be no change to our usual Saturday classes. This will be a great warm-up! And of course we will be at the bandstand from 8am as usual!

Directions are as follows:
– London NW5 1QR
– Nearest overground station: Gospel Oak
– Nearest underground station: Tufnell Park (Northern Line)
– Nearest mainline train station: Kentish Town
– Buses serving Highgate Road nearby: 214 and C2.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
All the best,
Tai Chi Life School
